About Chrissy Sulouff
Orton-Gillingham Trained SLP in NJ

I earned my Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Kean University in 2008 and am a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in New Jersey. I am also a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), with more than 17 years of experience working with children from preschool through age 21.

I am PROMPT-trained and have extensive experience supporting a wide range of communication needs, including pragmatic language, articulation, expressive and receptive language, and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems. However, my passion and expertise lie in literacy intervention.

I completed three years of training with the Academy of Orton-Gillingham (OG) Practitioners and Educators and have incorporated the OG approach into therapy since 2015. I currently provide individualized Orton-Gillingham based speech and language therapy to students seeking to strengthen their reading and spelling skills.

As a certified SLP, I bring in-depth knowledge of phonemic awareness, morphology, syntax, and semantics—essential components of language that go far beyond basic sound–symbol relationships. When combined with the explicit, systematic instruction of the OG approach, this background enables me to provide highly effective, individualized literacy intervention.

I am honored to support families in this important work and look forward to offering my services to you.

Outside of my professional work, I cherish spending time with my wonderful husband and our four amazing children.
